Our hair-removal system is a long-pulse Nd:YAG, FDA-cleared for all Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI. The longer 1064 nm wavelength passes through surface pigment instead of being absorbed by it, which is exactly why it is safe on deeper skin tones where older alexandrite-only devices were not. We also run ClearLift, a Q-switched Nd:YAG, and IPL for sun damage and redness.
