Post-Care Instructions · Titanium Lift
Titanium Lift aftercare
There is no downtime after a Soprano Titanium Lift. Expect mild flushing and warmth for a few minutes up to a couple of hours, after which makeup and your normal skincare go straight back on. For 48 hours avoid added heat — hot showers, saunas, hard exercise — and pause retinoids and acids. Daily SPF between sessions is the one rule that is not optional.
What to do in the hours and days after laser lifting — so the collagen response does its work and each session in your course of three builds on the last.

A Titanium Lift works by building gentle heat deep in the skin while the handpiece cools the surface, so unlike an ablative treatment there is no wound to heal. That makes aftercare short — but the weeks between sessions matter more than they do for most treatments, because that is when the collagen is actually being laid down.
What’s normal — and when to call us
Before anything else, here is how to tell an ordinary part of the response from a reason to reach out.
Normal & expected
- Mild flushing or pinkness for a few minutes up to a couple of hours
- A warm feeling in the treated area, like mild sun exposure
- A slight tightness across the jawline or under the chin
- Skin feeling a little more sensitive than usual for a day
- No peeling, no scabbing and no visible recovery — that is expected here
Call us right away
- Blistering or any break in the skin
- Redness or swelling still there after 48 hours
- Signs of infection — spreading warmth, pus, or fever
- Lasting darker or lighter patches in the treated area
- Pain that is severe or getting worse rather than settling
Your recovery, stage by stage
Straight after your session
The first few hours
- Flushing is the treatment working. Warmth and pinkness are the expected response to dermal heating and usually settle within a couple of hours.
- Makeup and your normal skincare can go straight back on. There is no barrier damage to protect, so nothing needs to be left bare.
- A cool compress is fine if the warmth feels like a lot. Cool, not cold, and no ice directly on skin.
- Go back to your day. There is no downtime and no reason to change your plans.
Keep the heat down
The first 48 hours
- Avoid anything that adds heat. Hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga and hard exercise all stack onto heat the skin is already clearing.
- Pause your actives. Retinoids, AHAs, BHAs and strong vitamin C go back in after 48 hours, not before.
- Keep it simple. A gentle cleanser and a plain moisturiser are all the skin needs.
- Sunscreen from day one. Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, every morning, reapplied if you are outdoors.
Where the results are actually made
The 3–4 weeks to your next session
- Daily SPF is not optional. New collagen is vulnerable to UV, and unprotected sun undoes the work you have paid for.
- Resume everything else normally once the first 48 hours are behind you.
- Book the next session 3 to 4 weeks out. The course of three is spaced that way for a reason — each session builds on collagen the last one started.
- Be patient with the mirror. Some tightening and brightness show early, but the visible peak arrives 2 to 3 months after your final session rather than on the day.
What to avoid while the collagen builds
- 48 hours: hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, hot yoga, hard exercise
- 48 hours: retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, strong vitamin C, scrubs and exfoliating tools
- Throughout the course: unprotected sun, sunbeds and self-tanner on the treated area
- Throughout: picking, scrubbing or aggressive massage of the treated area
