Kennesaw, GA
Microneedling with peptide infusion from $300, or $800 for a series of three. Best on acne scarring, texture and fine lines. Roughly 24–48 hours of redness. 15 minutes down I‑75.
Microneedling is collagen induction. Fine needles create controlled micro-injuries, and the skin's repair response lays down new collagen over the following weeks. The needling is not the treatment; the healing is. That distinction explains most of what people find confusing about it.
A single session produces a short-lived glow — swelling and increased blood flow, which flatters the skin for a week or so. Real textural change comes from stacking the collagen response: three to five sessions about four weeks apart, with the result continuing to build for two to three months after the last one.
If someone offers you one session for acne scarring and implies it will resolve it, they are selling you the glow, not the collagen.
Rolling and boxcar scars respond well — those are broad depressions the skin can genuinely fill in. Icepick scars are the hard case: narrow, deep, and often needing a different technique entirely. Most people have a mix, so the realistic expectation is meaningful improvement in overall texture with some individual scars remaining visible. A series of five is the sensible starting point for significant scarring, not three.
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| Single session | From $300 |
| Series of 3 (recommended) | From $800 |
| Series of 5 (deep scarring) | From $1,250 |
| Add-on: PRP infusion | Add ~$200 |
Sessions run about four weeks apart, so a series is a three to five month commitment. Fifteen minutes down I‑75 with free parking is what makes that practical rather than aspirational.
Take I‑75 South to the Johnson Ferry Road exit — about 15 minutes from Town Center at Cobb, a little longer from the Acworth side. Free on-site parking at 1401 Johnson Ferry Rd, Suite 100A.
We are open Tuesday to Friday 9am–5pm and Saturday 9am–3pm.
Three to five, about four weeks apart. Three is the usual recommendation for texture and fine lines; five is the realistic starting point for significant acne scarring.
